Cataphactii Armor

Damnit I just noticed this now, how does he lift his visor all the way it seems to stop at the plume.
Does it just push the plume out the way, is it not meant to go up?
My brain just ruined a beautiful suit of armor.
Still looks regal as fuck though and I love it.
